The Royal Beauties

The Royal Beauties live in Holland. They are all rescued greyhounds who come from terrible circumstances.
China: China was rescued from a racetrack in Barcelona. Fortunately, after a lot of public protest, the track has now been closed down. This dog was so man-handled and abused, that it took her new human companion who took her in, ONE YEAR before China allowed her to touch her. China is still distrustful of men and children but lives a happy and full life with her human, two cats, Gitana and China.
Kevin: Kevin is another abused greyhound, rescued from Holland.
Gitana: Gitana lived in appalling circumstances with gypsies, and was used for illegal hunting purposes. It took THREE years before Gitana trusted her human enough to put her head on her knee and allowed her head to be stroked. She, like Kevin and China, lives a safe and happy life and the only thing standing in her way is her ripe old age.
