I thought about that - but this is definitely not a "I miss your smell" thing. I hate to sound like a slob, but I have plenty of clothes lying all over the show.....

She has got the sensitivity control pellets which she likes, but if we give her just dry food, she won't eat it. She wants wet AND dry food.

Oops - you're not popular.

Or no, maybe you are! When my cats climb into my cupboard and clear out the clothes, they are usually looking for comfort / sympathy - cats can smell your unique smell on your clothes, even after they've been through the wash (however, have you seen how a cat rolls around and purrs on a sweaty shirt or sweaty shoes - gross!). Maybe she is looking for your smell to comfort her when you are not there. My cats choose my slept-in T-shirt over our fluffy quilt.

One possible suggestion... I'm not sure if you've already tried it without success, but until Mary's food is available once more, why don't you try one of the other brands for sensitive skin? My Galaxy has a very allergic skin - looks much like the photos of Mary's wounds when he's got a bout of allergy. I've had him on Hills Sensitive Skin for the past year or so and he is completely allergy free (in fact, he's in phenomenal condition).

And it really works quickly for him - the allergy cleared up within a few days of his diet change. When I've run out of his food over a weekend and he eats the "normal" food, his allergy flares up again - literally after two days!

Oh well - you're in my thoughts :)
