I have been through that pain and never, ever want to feel it again - no one understands, but it's like losing a child. I have simply kept my cats inside since kittenhood, and they just do not want to go out. I am blessed with a husband who has built them cat porches around the house and we are busy with a "cat garden" - a huge enclosure with trees and a river running through it. I am blessed - not many people are lucky enough to be able to do this. I am so terrified of losing one of my babies that all my 11 children are indoor cats. Mary appears to be as contrary as most cats...I find that with James my daily visitor. I set up graet spots for them but he prefers some uncomfortable spot he picked out himself.
